These Fern Plant Fossils were excavated in Northeast PA, near the Tamaqua/Hazelton/St.Clair area. They are completely natural, no repairs or touchups whatsoever. Nature & time are the artists. The bold white and/or silver color is the result of the actual plant matter becoming a pyrophyllite after pyrite psuedormorph after hundreds of millions of years. This type of preservation yields crisp prints and great contrast from the host rock!
Although PA Fern Plant Fossils are our "bread and butter", we also sell minerals, crystals, and more.
